ABRAHAM (d. 1232 ), bishop of S. Asaph .

Consecrated by Stephen Langton at Westminster 29 June 1225 . His previous record is not known, but he was probably a Welshman . Pen. MS. 20 names him ‘euream.’ In 1227 he granted to Valle Crucis the second half of the church of Wrexham , and in 1232 to the same abbey a portion of Llangollen church .
