DAFYDD GOCH BRYDYDD o FUALLT , a poet , evidently from the Builth district, and living towards the end of the 16th cent.

Among his extant poems are those written to Sir John Salusbury (q.v.) ( N.L.W. MSS. 6495 and 6496 ), Sir John Wynn of Gwydir (q.v.) ( Cardiff MS. 83 ), and Gruffydd Fychan of Cors y Gedol (see the article Vaughan of Corsygedol ) ( Llanst. MS. 118 ). It is also possible that he is the ‘ Dafydd Goch ’ whose poetry is to be found in the following manuscripts: Llanst. 38, 49, 118, 125, 133, 134 , Merthyr Tydfil , and Mostyn 145 .
