DAFYDD GOCH BRYDYDD o FUALLT , a poet, evidently from the Builth district, and living towards the end of the 16th cent. Among his extant poems are those written to Sir John Salusbury (q.v.) (N.L.W. MSS. 6495 and 6496), Sir John Wynn of Gwydir (q.v.) (Cardiff MS. 83), and Gruffydd Fychan of Cors y Gedol (see the article Vaughan of Corsygedol) (Llanst. MS. 118). It is also possible that he is the ‘Dafydd Goch’ whose poetry is to be found in the following manuscripts: Llanst. 38, 49, 118, 125, 133, 134, Merthyr Tydfil, and Mostyn 145.
