EVANS , CADWALADR ( 1664 - 1745 ), Pennsylvanian Welsh Quaker ;

b. at Fron-goch in the parish of Llanfor, Mer. He joined the Society of Friends , emigrated to Gwynedd , Pennsylvania , in 1698 , and was accepted into the ministry of the Friends . He d. in 1745 , aged 81. Cadwaladr Evans was great-great-grandfather of Abraham Lincoln .
