FOULKES , ROBERT ( 1743 - 1841 ), musician ;

a native of S. Asaph . He was a glazier by trade. He was well-known as a singer to the harp and was adjudged the best (out of eighteen competitors) in an eisteddfod held at Caerwys , Flints. , 1798 . [He d. 24 Dec. 1841 .]
