FOULKES, ROBERT (1743-1841), musician; a native of S. Asaph. He was a glazier by trade. He was well-known as a singer to the harp and was adjudged the best (out of eighteen competitors) in an eisteddfod held at Caerwys, Flints., 1798. [He d. 24 Dec. 1841.]
