HUW ap DAFYDD ap LLYWELYN ap MADOG (or HUW LLWYD ap DAFYDD ap LLYWELYN ap MADOG , according to Llanst. MS. 125 (439)) (fl. c. 1526-1580), a poet of whose life nothing is known. A few examples of his poetry remain in manuscripts; these include an elegy upon Tudur Aled and a poem of praise to Pirs Griffith (qq.v.).
