a native of Anglesey. No details concerning his life are known, but at least two examples of his work are to be found in manuscript, these being a cywydd to beg assistance when he was poor (B.M. Add. MS. 14882 (119) and Brogyntyn MS. 4 (112)), and an elegiac cywydd to the poet Robin Ddu (Cardiff MSS. 7 (758) and 47 (195)).
