JOHN , ISAAC ( fl. 1729-1730 ), of South Cardiganshire ; writer of halsingod

(religious carols popular in South Cardiganshire between the years 1650 and 1750 ). He is known to have written, in 1729-30 , a 180-line halsing beginning ‘Gwrandewch trwy osteg ar dduwiol ddameg, Y Mab Afradlon a'r gau gyfeillion,’ etc.
