Over eighty examples of poems by him are preserved in NLW MS 346B , these being in the form of cywyddau, englynion, carolau, and cerddi, dated variously between 1768 and 1786 and all in Welsh except the ' Election Song written on the Carnarvon Election ' [ 1774 ].
