LEWIS , THOMAS ( 18th cent. ), a hymn-writer

who lived at Ynys-wen in the parish of Llanegwad, Carms. , and, at another period, at Castellhywel, Cards. A volume of long hymns composed by him and entitled Caniadau Duwiol was published in 1795 . This also contains a poem of praise to the author by David Richards ( Dafydd Ionawr , q.v.) .
