MAB Y CLOCHYDDYN ( fl. c. 1380 ), a poet

who is reputed to have been a native of Llanafan-fawr , Brecknock . Two examples of his work are found in the ‘ Red Book of Hergest ’ and a number of other manuscripts. They are an elegy to Gwenhwyfar , daughter of Madog and wife of Hywel ap Tudur ap Gruffudd of Anglesey , and two englynion .
