MAB Y CLOCHYDDYN (fl. c. 1380), a poet who is reputed to have been a native of Llanafan-fawr, Brecknock. Two examples of his work are found in the ‘Red Book of Hergest’ and a number of other manuscripts. They are an elegy to Gwenhwyfar, daughter of Madog and wife of Hywel ap Tudur ap Gruffudd of Anglesey, and two englynion.
