ROBERT (ROBIN) DYFI , a poet who flourished c. 1620 .

According to N.L.W. MS. 431 (5) he was a weaver by trade. Some of his compositions may be found in Cardiff MS. 84 ; N.L.W. MSS. 431, 566, 719, 783, 1247, 11087, 13078 ; Llanst. MSS. 38, 53, 124, 133, 156, 166 ; Pen. MS. 91 ; Mostyn MS. 165 ; Cwrtmawr MSS. 21, 244 ; Bodewryd MS. 1 ; Brogyntyn MS. 3 .
