Amend the floruit to c. 1450-60 . Phylip ap Rhys of Cenarth in the parish of St. Harmon, Rads. , and his wife Gwenllian , daughter of Owain Glyn Dŵr , were the patrons .

details concerning his life are unknown, but one example of his work has been found, this being a cywydd in praise of Phylip ap Rhys of Gwynedd and Gwenllian his wife — in N.L.W. MS. 728 (113) .
